The Mountain Education Foundation (MEF) was formed to provide ongoing financial support to achieve and maintain excellence in the Signal Mountain public schools.

Since 1991 MEF has provided more than $6.5 million in funding to enhance learning in the classroom in an effort to continually strengthen the Signal Mountain schools.  MEF brings parents, community leaders, citizens and local businesses together for an organized and united fundraising effort while connecting with principals and educators to identify the essential needs for each of the schools it serves.
